Mastermind Groups

Are You Ready to Set and Achieve those BIG Goals?

Join Our Mastermind Groups!

What is a Mastermind Group?

Mastermind groups facilitated by Dr. Laura Weber Garrison, Ph.D., are a combination of business coaching, brainstorming, cognitive behavioral education, peer accountability, and co-creative support  (and yes, group therapy) in an in-person, small group setting.  Designed to help you overcome limitations and push past perceived blocks, our Mastermind groups also challenge each member to set big goals, and most importantly, to accomplish them.

How Does It Operate?

Through the Mastermind group process, a goal is set and then a plan is designed to achieve it. The group meetings are structured and facilitated by Dr. Garrison from a perspective of holistic healing and growth concomitant to each member's goals-- in other words, you'll be equipped and supported as you learn to navigate the unique hurdles that each of us face when we're leaning into something new, different, and perhaps a little overwhelming.

There is also a wonderful and rapid learning curve inherent with a Mastermind Group:  Members of your group will possess skills and ideas that may have taken them years to develop, and they can often share them with you in a matter of minutes.

As you begin to implement your plans, you’ll bring both successes and challenges to the group. Mastermind group members act as catalysts for growth and as supportive allies and colleagues--people who have your best and highest in mind and will put in the additional efforts to see you succeed as you will for them.  Your Facilitator's roles also include those of counselor, coach, educator, liaison, and director.  Dr. Weber has been part of Mastermind Groups for more than three decades, obtained her business degree from Pepperdine, and was a past member of Jack Canfield's Platinum Mastermind Group.

Where? The in-person meetings are held onsite at the Better Wellness Naturally offices.  Our Online Cohorts are hosted via a webinar platform.

What's Required?

The group requires commitment, confidentiality, dedication, and willingness to both give and receive advice and ideas. Within our groups, we support each other with complete authenticity, privacy, respect, and compassion.

What Our Mastermind Groups are not…

They are not classes. The main focus of a Mastermind group is brainstorming and accountability.  Support among the group members is key.

They are not group coaching or group therapy sessions. Mastermind groups are about the members sharing with-- and assisting each other --in a supportive, non-judgemental forum.  While the Facilitator does act as a coach--and sometimes as a therapist-- the meetings are not about individuals being coached one-on-one in a group setting. Within the Group, you'll get everyone’s compassionate feedback, advice, and positive support in a structured, progressive, growth-oriented environment. The Facilitator has decades of Mastermind Group experience and is tasked with keeping conversations balanced between all members, assisting with momentum, and providing pivotal feedback.

They are not exclusive networking groups. While you may share leads and resources with each other, it is not the main focus of the meetings. However, through your connections with other members, you will find an abundance of resources, joint venture opportunities, lead sharing, and professional networking.

What's also included:

  • Group Binder with handouts

The term 'Mastermind Group' was first coined by Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich.

Hill defined the “Master Mind” as a “coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
